The academy program is designed to focus on development of the player’s skills versus winning games. This type of structure is encouraged by US Youth Soccer. The Academy program is directed toward talented and enthusiastic young players and serves as a link between the intramural program and the competitive travel program.

 FC Montco – New Premier Soccer Club for the Elite Player

Methacton United, Towamencin and Jeffersonville Soccer Clubs have joined to form this Premier level program.  FC Montco has been created to provide elite players a local opportunity to compete at the premier level while receiving professional training and development in preparation for playing at the high school and collegiate levels.  FC Montco is not exclusive to the partner clubs and is open to all serious players in the area.  More:

Methacton United U-8 Boys and Girls hosted its first ever 4v4 soccer festival. They festival featured club teams from PA Rush, Deep Run, Harleysville and our own Methacton United teams. The teams played a total of five 12 minute games, that allowed for the players to experience the game in a relaxed setting, which allowed for player development to take place. Methacton United is keeping up with the trend of US Soccer, and its small sided approach for this age group. Not only has our U-8 group received 100% professional training, but the best experience when then compete against outside group in the 4v4 setting.

Methacton United Soccer Club strives to advance the sport of soccer by offering players of every skill level and ability the opportunity to learn and play the game.  We offer fall and spring intramural leagues for the recreational player and a year-round travel program for the more advanced player.
