MUSC has signed a contract with Red Bull New York to enhance and expand the professional training at MUSC. In
the past we have worked with five different training organizations. We have decided that having one group run our program will bring a consistent philosophy through out our training. This consistent philosophy will be brought to intramural players, travel players, intramural coaches & travel coaches.

We have decided to work exclusively with RBNY (with the exception of a Coerver Camp) and we have decided to
greatly expand the training program. In 2010 we will provide over 650 hours of professional training to our players
and coaches plus an intramural camp and travel team camps.

The expanded program will include:

• U8 Academy – 6 week program for potential travel players for both boys and girls. beginning March 20th. This will have a fee of $60 per participant.
• Spring Pee Wee program – 6 week program for 4-5 year olds beginning April 10th.
• Coaches training – travel & intramural – we will have several sessions for each group through out the year
• Goal Keeper training – we will have a spring session and a winter session. We will group these sessions by skill level.
• U9 team camp – we will kick off the training of our U9 teams with a week long camp June 21. This camp has a dual purpose 1) provide 15 hours of professional training to our youngest travel players 2) provide 15 hours of training to our New coaches. We hope that this training will progress our coaching and bring consistency to our program. The U9 registration fee will be an extra $100 to cover this camp.
• Coerver Camp – June 21 – a 30 hour camp. This is the best skill based camp available. I would highly recommend this camp to all travel players. For more information, please visit the Coerver website.
• Travel team camps – July 26 - a 15 hour camp for travel teams, cost $140 per player paid to RBNY. A great way to run training camp for your team.
• Fall Pee Wee program for 4-5 year olds
• Fall Travel Teams, Travel coaches, IM coaches & Goal keepers. We will have 2 fulltime trainers dedicated to MUSC for 180 hours each beginning August 1st. They will provide 8-10 sessions with each travel team, several coaching clinics and a goal keeper program.

This is a very exciting time for MUSC, in the past few years we have greatly improved the development of players and teams in our club. This program will continue to build on the strength that YOU (all of our volunteers) have brought to MUSC.
